January 6th, 2018 - Alpha release approaching fastWhile the #Spectrum of the snow #Meltdown slowly approaches, the alpha pre-release of GemSuite is almost here ! Funny fact : as those of you keeping track might have noticed, Avast tags it as malware, while the core upon which GemSuite is built (LiveCode) can't be used to access random memory locations given their address - which makes it an impossible candidate for the two latest exploits found in the CISC architecture of Intel CPUs. At that rate, I will probably have to host the full website and infrastructure at home, on my own server (which has a RISC PowerPC architecture), to ensure safety of the GemSuite users, until the folks at my hosting service upgrade theirs.
