April 17th, 2020 - Modeler : preliminary ratracer

Phew. That was, like, a lot of work in one late evening. But most of the data for the future beamtracer is now coded and stabilized. From the mandatory optical axis, thru the spectral data (pixel-wise) to the absorption parameters (same), every stepping stone is now laid down. I have ticked almost every box in the long list of physical parameters that must be included in GemSuite Modeler to make it able to handle anisotropic (polarization and different optical indexes), unevenly-colored, and unevenly-absorptive (usambara effect) minerals. Not all of the above will be included in the first release, but the anisotropy definitely will. We need this project to become available ASAP and start bringing the art of faceting to the next level now, thanks to gemstone scanning for all. I still don't have anything visual to show you guys, besides pretty pictures and random videos. Bear with me!
