April 1st, 2023 - Launched the company registration today - no kidding!

Old saying : "Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. -> Slow is fast."

This was overdue, indeed. So many roadblocks in my way. But today, I did the registration process, and at the same time bought the two domain names that I wanted for both the company and the GemSuite organization - yes, it will become an organization when I'm done programming all of this.

Why April 1st, you might ask? Well, the name of the company itself will be a pun (in french, sorry), so why not triple that with the dreaded date, and set the official starting of the company to May 1st ("fête du travail", not a working day here in France)? =D

I know these link to this same server (I have low hosting needs for now), but behold:

http://www.facetix.fr
and
http://www.gemsuite.org

Some random dude had registered gemsuite dot org a long time ago and only uses it as a placeholder for his gems selling website (rather nice one). I used to buy gems from him years ago, but when I contacted him about the domain name, he didn't bother to answer. How rude. Karma will hit back!

So, things are moving slowly but in the right direction. I'll be getting the funds for the UT v5 once the registration is validated, which means I'll be cutting by the end of May if all goes as planned this time! Bear with me.

Meanwhile, I've been painstakingly trying to source the most important component for the gem scanners at the best possible price, which has revealed quite tricky - but I got a big hit. Once the faceting machine is ordered and delivered, I'll be able to use what remains of my monthly money to stock-up on that part - the motor assembly that rotates the scanning dop. As far as electronic components go, I have a phenomenal stock from a previous project, so no shortage here.
